Has your child been absent recently?

Hello Asbury Families! When your scholar is absent or late to school, please notify the school of any absence or tardy using ONE of the following options: 

                                          To report an absence, please email: asburyattendance@hampton.k12.va.us.

Absence Tips: If your child is going to be absent from school, please choose an option:

Option 1 - Email . . . 

• Include your name, your child’s name, and a reason for absence.
  (you may take a picture of the note and attach it to the email . . .  Please keep your copy for verification purposes).

Option 2 - Call the Attendance Clerk

• Call the office at 757-850-5075 and report that your child will not be attending school that day and provide an explanation.

After 5 parent notifications of absence, additional absences may be considered unexcused without written documentation from a doctor, court, etc.
